Every tradition has a wealth of wedding traditions and Russia is no exception. While some modern Russian people opt for a more "westernized" ceremony that only requires them to sign their names in a register office ( or as we call it Zags), there are still those who want to go the whole hog and have the classic Orthodox celebration with all of its connected enjoyment.

As an example, a conventional Russian few may greet their parents as they enter the home with bread and salt. This is a means of wishing the innovative few a long living together. After this, the newlyweds will include a special meal of korovai, a circular marriage food filled with different characters such as birds, blooms, sun and stars, all wishing the couple wellbeing, prosperity and happiness.

During the greeting, guests are encouraged to cut a bit of income on the floor around the honeymooners, known as "dvoryanka". This is a traditional custom that embodies a couple's desire for great success in life.

Another custom is that the wife throws her bouquet at the friends instead of the wife. People caught it is thought to be the person who will marry after them, so they must be extremely cautious not to kick very difficult. A piece of the plate must be positioned underneath their pillow for those who do n't catch the bouquet.

The "ransom" is a traditional part of a Russian bride. In essence, the couple's hot girl russia pals abduct the bride and keep her until he finishes a string of commitments that will finally humiliate him. To free the maiden, the bridegroom has make either actual or metaphorical payment.
